FIRST HARVESTS! Petre Daea left at the end of yesterday, June 13, for Islaz, in Teleorman county where the Rezeanu brothers, administrators of the Refdan Com farm, started harvesting barley.But the first farmer who entered the barley field with combines was the well-known businessman from Dolj, administrator of Comcereal Dolj, Mihai Anghel. So in his vegetable farm, located in the south of Dolj county, in the Segarcea area, the first ears of barley were threshed this year.

The Rezeanu brothers delighted Daea. He remembered his internship on the farm in his hometown, Şişeşti, Mehedinţi county. He congratulated the two young farmers (37 and 40 years old) about whom I wrote 2 years ago in Ferma magazine. About how Mihai Rezeanu (Miki, as those in agriculture know him) together with his brother, grow maize in monoculture with irrigation done entirely by them.

The barley looked good and the harvest is rich. The hectoliter weight is between 61 and 63 kg/hl and the delivery price is 128 euros/t. Somewhere at 56 coins/kg. Today they had the 4 Claas 600 Lexion combines, and from tomorrow the 2 new acquisitions, the Claas 780 Lexion, will arrive.
